Baby David pulls up

News Flash: Baby David Jr., who JUST learned how to crawl about two weeks ago, has offically pulled himself up using the coffee table. Unfortunately, he pulled off the decorative bowl centerpiece which tumbled on top of him as he pulled it off of the table. Uh, oh! Boo boo bear for baby? No, it was not that bad of a fall. We'll have to stop gawking next time and start watching him closer!

Once a week is plenty

OK, so when I first started blogging, I thought it would be a daily adventure. But even I (bold and underlined) don't want to rehash my life daily. So I think once a week is plenty enough to write about what's going on.

This past week was a blur. Aside from a very good work week, we squeezed in a couple of workouts and I reconnected with some high school friends to plan our 20th year class reunion - yes, I am feeling old now! I also took my son to a boy scout clean up event on Saturday, and today I put together our family calendar schedule for August. Right now, I am watching my two-year old daughter dance to Kelly Clarkson... priceless!

OCD Heaven!

Pinch me, I must be dreaming. I have died and gone to OCD heaven. How come no one ever told me about the Bissell Powerlifter Powerbrush Upright Deep Cleaner for my carpets??? It is almost as good as, well, you know. Don't tell my husband I wrote that! Anyway, we cleaned one room to try it out and ended up do the entire house by the end of the day. Awesome.

Monday, Monday...

Having a good Monday so far. It seems no matter what time I get up, though, I leave the house at the same time every morning. So, I am sleeping later tomorrow. What's the point?

Had a nice conversation and reconnected with my best friend from high school last night on the phone. We sort of lost touch with each other a few years ago. She is expecting her first baby and we talked about what it was like having a baby and the first few weeks afterward. I tried not to scare her too much, but there ARE some things no none tells you about -- like what happens to your body right after you have a baby.

The kids were so pooped out from yesterday, we had to drag them out of bed this AM. Why can't they sleep like that on Saturday morning??? We are going to have to start keeping them up late on Friday nights. Maybe add a few laps around the house at 10pm. That should tucker them out!

One of my good friends, Pam, called me this morning about their visit to FL next month. We thought we were going with them to Disney, but since we just went in April for two dys AND we are going to the beach the first week of August, we opted not to add another trip to the calendar. We DID invite them over for an afternoon at the Snively's while they are in town, so we are very much looking forward to catching up with them. They have been living in Spokane , WA for the last three years and just moved to Columbia, SC a couple months ago. Yeah! Back to the east coast and some warmer weather! Zeta love!

I did it!!!!!!

OK, here it is! My new blog. How exciting! I finally crawled out from under my rock and found out about this whole blogging phenonmenon. My husband keeps walking over to the computer wondering what the heck I am doing. Well, honey, I am BLOGGING!

Today we are going to the local water park, so I have to get my swimsuit on and get all the kiddies ready to go. They are all running around like screaming mimis asking when we are leaving. The baby is napping right now, so it will definitely not be before he wakes up. Although, if they keep screamng, he will not be napping for long!
